Andrea L. Graham is a versatile Canadian vocalist whose career spans jazz, blues, musical theatre, opera and choral performance. Known for her expressive tone and warm stage presence, she has been a fixture in Edmonton’s music community for more than two decades.

 

Andrea performs regularly as the lead vocalist of The Andrea Graham Quartet, a project she founded in 2017 that showcases her signature blend of jazz standards, contemporary arrangements, and soulful storytelling. She has appeared at notable venues and festivals including The Art of Cake’s Red Door, The Blue Chair, Grindstone Theatre, Café Blackbird, the Skirts A Fire Festival, and numerous private and special events.

 

A dynamic collaborator, Andrea has also enjoyed a long-standing partnership in Andrea & Tim, a voice–guitar duo active from 2005 to 2017, and has been a featured guest with the Mad Dog Blues Band, the Terry & Friends trio, and multiple small ensembles across the region. Her musical versatility extends deeply into theatre: her credits span more than 30 productions, including roles and solo features in City of Angels, Mary Poppins, Sweeney Todd, Madame Butterfly, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Brigadoon, and many others. Andrea’s work in musical theatre ranges from comedic character roles to dramatic ensemble performances, reflecting her broad stylistic and interpretive abilities.

Alongside her stage work, Andrea is an accomplished choral singer. She has been a soprano with Chorealis at the Unitarian Church of Edmonton since 2011 and previously performed with ensembles such as the Edmonton Opera Chorus, Piatta Forma, the Metro Community Choir, and the Bel Canto Choir. Her choral performances include major concert works and productions such as Madame Butterfly, Viva Verdi, and Missa Brevis.

Andrea has studied with esteemed vocal instructors throughout her career, including David Wilson, Kim Denis, Arlene Klonteig, and Elsie Hepburn, and has continued her professional development through workshops at the Toronto Jazz Festival and additional vocal, choral, and performance intensives. She has also contributed to the arts community through service on the Nuova Vocal Arts Board and as an active member of the Worship Arts and Music Committee at the Unitarian Church of Edmonton.
